Biography
Ms. Bovell is an associate in the Labor and Employment Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP in the San Francisco office. Ms. Bovell defends employers in the public and private sectors in sexual harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour and contract claims brought under federal and state law. Her experience includes litigation in both state and federal courts, including jury trials, and before administrative agencies.
During law school and her first year of practice, Ms. Bovell performed transactional work at an entertainment firm, representing talent and independent record labels. She began practicing litigation in 2000 when she joined the in-house legal department at a Fortune 100 corporation as a contract attorney.
