Biography
Ms. Nelson is an associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group in the San Francisco office of Seyfarth Shaw where her practice concentrates on employment litigation. Her experience includes defending employers against class actions, wage and hour claims, claims of sexual harassment, wrongful termination, breach of contract, defamation, retaliation, and race, gender, disability and age discrimination. Ms. Nelson also counsels employers on a variety of employment-related issues, including personnel policies and employee handbooks, workplace investigations, workplace privacy, and employee discipline and termination. Ms. Nelson represents clients in federal and state courts, as well as before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the California Labor Commissioner.Education
