Biography
Ms. Soodan is an associate in the Employee Benefits Practice Area of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. She has experience in all areas of employee benefits with a concentration in executive compensation. In addition, Ms. Soodan has over seven years of experience in the area of global equity compensation. She has assisted large multinational employers (originating in the U.S. as well as overseas) with the global extension of their international employee equity plans in over eighty countries, including the design, implementation and ongoing tax and regulatory compliance of such programs. In particular, Ms. Soodan has significant knowledge of the international tax and legal ramifications of transaction-related equity awards and equity modifications (e.g., initial public offerings, spin-offs, etc.). She has been a regular speaker at the Global Equity Organization’s Midwest Chapter meetings.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Soodan was a tax manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP’s Total Compensation practice, focusing in the areas of domestic and international compensation.
