Biography

Mr. Van Brussel is a partner representing management in the area of labor and employment since 1978. He has extensive experience in employment litigation, including wrongful discharge, discrimination and sexual harassment actions, in both federal and state court and has represented clients in jury and bench trials, administrative hearings, labor arbitrations and mediation. Mr. Van Brussel also works closely with management in drafting and revising personnel policies, employment contracts, confidentiality agreements and other employment-related documents. He has lectured and written on numerous employment-related topics, including sexual harassment, employment discrimination, drug testing, family leave, the Americans With Disabilities Act, wage and hour issues, and personnel practices.
