Biography
Ms. Furuta is a staff attorney in the Labor & Employment Department in the Los Angeles office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. She has a wide range of experience in employment litigation in federal and state courts, including five recent wage and hour class actions. Her practice focuses primarily on the defense of claims for wage and hour actions (including overtime and misclassification claims) and employment discrimination. Ms. Furuta has represented businesses in a variety of industries, including high technology, education, retail, healthcare, and temporary employment.Education
