Biography
Ms. Macon represents management in all aspects of labor and employment litigation, including claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, wage-and-hour violations, employee leave-law violations, business torts, and class-action litigation. Her practice focuses primarily on wage-and-hour litigation and gender, race, and disability discrimination actions brought under Title VII or California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act. She also provides advice and counsel on human resources issues including investigations, hiring, terminations, discipline, and leave requests. Ms. Macon has provided training for attorneys, human resource professionals, and departmental managers on preventing sexual harassment, pursuing diversity in the legal profession, and properly responding to employee requests for leave under state and federal law.Education
