Biography

Ms. Goff is an associate in the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. She has advised for-profit, non-profit and governmental clients on a variety of issues relating to the design, qualification, administration and termination of 401(k), profit sharing and other qualified plans. She also has experience designing nonqualified executive compensation agreements and accompanying trusts. Ms. Goff has assisted clients in correcting operational and administrative plan errors and conducting internal comprehensive benefit plan compliance audits. Ms. Goff has extensive experience with welfare and flexible benefit plans, and the rules relating to COBRA continuation coverage, USERRA military leave, and HIPAA security and privacy rules under such plans. Ms. Goff has helped clients from small family owned businesses to large multinational conglomerates in formulating an effective benefits communication and administration strategy. She also has experience assisting clients resolve benefit and fiduciary duty claims through alternative dispute resolution and litigation.
