Joshua C. Drewitz

Biography

Mr. Drewitz is an associate in the litigation practice area of Seyfarth Shaw LLP.  He is an experienced litigator whose emphasis has been on administrative and judicial appeals, including bid protests, disputes, and claims.  His courtroom experience includes many forms of federal litigation, from military courts-martial to administrative agencies and boards.  Mr. Drewitz assists clients with internal investigations, voluntary disclosures, and provides compliance advice for government contractors.  He provides counsel to clients on all aspects of the FAR as well as on numerous government contract related concerns.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Drewitz was on active duty as an Army Judge Advocate, where he served as a Trial Attorney in the Army’s Contract and Fiscal Law Division and as a federal prosecutor at the 82nd Airborne Division located at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.  During his service with the Army he represented the government in complex, multi-million dollar litigation arising out of government contracts at the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals and defended Army procurement actions before the Government Accountability Office.  Additionally, Mr. Drewitz deployed with the 82nd to both Iraq and Afghanistan providing advice on government contract and operational matters.
