Biography

Mr. Jackins is of counsel for both the Corporate and Real Estate Practice Groups in the Washington D.C. office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. He concentrates his practice in real estate, domestic and international business transactions, and counseling on general corporate matters.

Mr. Jackins represents businesses, real estate investors, developers, landlords, and tenants in the sale, acquisition, development, and leasing of commercial properties. He also represents public pension funds in the acquisition, sale, and management of commercial real estate. His corporate practice covers a broad array of business and commercial matters including business formation, mergers and acquisitions, the preparation of commercial agreements, and other general corporate matters.

Mr. Jackins also possesses extensive trial experience handling litigation involving complex commercial transactions and real property disputes. He has represented real estate investors, developers, builders, landlords, and multi-national corporations before federal and state courts and in arbitration. Mr. Jackins has also represented corporations who are the subject of governmental investigations and enforcement actions concerning securities fraud, antitrust violations, and unfair trade practices.
