Biography
Dyann DelVecchio represents corporations, educational institutions, and research institutions in connection with obtaining visas for professionals, managers, and executives. She also represents performing artists in obtaining immigrant and non-immigrant visas. She serves as a frequent panelist and trainer, has co-authored a number of articles on immigration law, and is often interviewed by the press on issues relating to immigration.
Ms. DelVecchio has been active in the area of immigration law for over twenty years, beginning with a position at Boston’s Berklee College of Music. As International Student Advisor, she developed the first program of legal services for the college’s large international student community. In 1997 the college honored her with an award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to international education and good will.
Ms. DelVecchio served for two years as a Law Clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court. Proficient in several languages, she is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the NAFSA: Association of International Educators. She is a current member and former chair of AILA's national F-1 Student Committee. She has also served on AILA's national Department of Labor Liaison Committee and its Vermont Service Center Liaison Committee.
