Biography
Mr. Epstein is a partner in Seyfarth Shaw’s New York office. His practice is focused on real estate development, acquisitions, dispositions, financings (acquisition, construction and permanent loans), preferred equity transactions, commercial leasing (office and retail) and real estate investment trust (REIT) mergers and acquisitions. He has practiced in New York City representing REITs involving the acquisition, disposition, development, financing or merger of commercial real estate properties and portfolios.
Mr. Epstein has represented developers in preferred equity transactions involving a joint venture structure with opportunity fund partners for acquisition and development of property. He has also represented borrowers in the restructuring of real estate limited partnerships and the workout of troubled loan transactions.
