- Boyd, et al. v. Intel, Sacramento Superior Court Case No. 04AS01253 (2004). Summary judgment granted on multiple plaintiff race and age discrimination case arising out of a reduction in force
- Jordan v. Intel, Sacramento Superior Court Case No. 03AS3713 (2003). Class action concerning exempt status of customer business analysts. Motion to dismiss class allegations and motion for summary judgment were granted.
- O’Harra v. Intel, Sacramento Superior Court Case No. 02AS06742 (2002). Class action concerning exempt status of system analysts. Dismissal of wage and hour class action allegations. Motion for summary judgment granted on the individual claims.
- Ryll v. Merck, Case No. CIV-S-01-1263 GEB PAN (USDC - ED Cal. 2001). Summary judgment on wrongful termination, defamation and gender discrimination claims. Affirmed on appeal.
- Morton v. Kaiser, Case No. CIV S-00-1652 DFL DAD PS (USDC - ED Cal. 2000). Summary judgment on discrimination in violation of Title VII, disability discrimination in violation of ADA and FEHA, intentional and negligent misrepresentation claims. Affirmed on appeal.
- Johnson v. Aerojet, Sacramento Superior Court Case No. 00AS03642 (2000). Summary judgment on race discrimination, failure to promote claims. Affirmed on appeal.
- Banks, et al. v. Output Technology Solutions, et al. Sacramento Superior Court Case No. 00AS03803 (consolidated with Case No. 00AS04786). Summary judgment on malicious prosecution claim.
- Flores v. CNG, Case No. CIV. S-99-0043 GEB JFM (USDC ED 1999). Three week jury trial in sex harassment case. Obtained dismissal of collective action under FLSA before trial.
- William v. Andrew, Case No. CIV S-99-800 GEB JFM (USDC- ED Cal. 1999). Summary judgment on California Family Rights Act/Family Medical Leave Act claims. Affirmed on appeal.
- Moseley v. Eastman Kodak, et al., Sacramento Superior Court Case No. 95AS07028 (1995). Summary judgment of defamation and wrongful termination in violation of public policy claims. Affirmed on appeal.
- Stowell v. U.S. Bancorp, CV-S-95-86 EJG (USDC ED Cal. 1995). Summary judgment on Americans with Disabilities Act and Age Discrimination in Employment Act claims.
- Post v. Tommy Armour, Case No. CIV-S-95-1002 EJG GGH (USDC ED 1997). Jury trial in an alleged disability and age discrimination case. The case resolved after the fourth day of trial.
- Macko v. U.S. Bancorp, Sacramento Co. Superior Case No. 542482 (1995). Summary judgment on breach of contract, defamation, invasion of privacy and misrepresentation claims.
- Carpenter v. U.S. Bancorp, Sacramento Co. Superior Case No. 540125 (1994). Summary judgment on former 25-year employee’s breach of contract, defamation, misrepresentation and Labor Code section 970 claims. Affirmed on appeal.
- Kenney v. Pacific Fidelity Life, et al., Sacramento Co. Superior Court Case No. 521594 (1993). Successful defense of plaintiff’s breach of contract and fraud claims. Trial lasted approximately eight weeks.
- Soto v. Chicago Title Company, Sacramento Co. Superior Court (1989). Defense verdict in age and sex discrimination case. Trial lasted approximately three weeks.
