Brian S. Cousin, Jonathan Evan Goldberg, and Jose M. Jara recently authored a chapter in Corporate Compliance Practice Guide: The Next Generation (LexisNexis, August 2009). The chapter, titled "Specific Corporate Compliance Challenges by Practice Area: ERISA," provides a general overview of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 ("ERISA") and discusses best practices for fiduciary compliance, ERISA litigation and risk management, and ERISA reporting and disclosure requirements.
