Introduction to Managed Care Systems in Illinois

This chapter explains the various types of managed care organizations and systems, including HMOs, PPOs, PPAs, TPAs, and IDSs. Included in the chapter is a discussion of the Federal and Illinois laws that regulate each of these types of entities.
