Firm’s SeyfarthLean® Approach Gains Momentum with New and Legacy Clients

CHICAGO (December 3, 2012) — For the second consecutive year, Seyfarth Shaw is pleased to announce it has been named to the BTI Client Service A-Team, rising to No. 5 out of 650 law firms in 2012, up 13 spots from last year. Praised by corporate counsel for its “quality” and “excellent track record,” Seyfarth attorneys “get results” while offering a “billing model that’s innovative” and “demonstrating the firm’s strong commitment to value.”

These honors fall on the heels of last week's Financial Times U.S. Innovative Lawyers Report 2012, which for the second consecutive year named Seyfarth among the top 10 most innovative law firms, based on its innovative approach to the business of law and the efforts of several of its practice groups.

Every firm scored is identified by clients using BTI’s distinct ranking method of key client attributes. The rankings reflect not only how frequently firms are mentioned, but also the nature of the attributes for which they are cited and how valuable these attributes are to clients. Based in part on the firm’s use of technology, including webinars and a “top-notch” online research library, Seyfarth garnered the highest scores, “Best of the Best,” in the BTI Innovation category. The firm was one of only four law firms to earn Innovation Idol honors from BTI. Seyfarth also rose to the “Leaders of the Best” distinction in the Anticipates Client’s Needs, Meets Core Scope and Understands the Client’s Interests categories, demonstrating the firm’s focus on providing exemplary client service.
