Marshall Babson was quoted in a March 30 story “Cash-Strapped NLRB Could Be More Flexible On Settlements” in Law360 on a recently sent memo from a top National Labor Relations Board official to regional directors and field offices acknowledging that the agency is facing a budget shortfall the rest of the fiscal year and suggesting various cost-cutting measures that experts say could make the agency more flexible in settlement negotiations with employers. Babson said that, as a result of the austerity measures, he expects to see more case.
