Brett Bartlett was quoted in an October 12 story “Fast-Food Industry Stuck on Franchisee Training Issue” by Bloomberg BNA on why fast-food franchisers often say they’re stuck between a rock and a hard place when they consider training franchisees on wage-and-hour laws. Bartlett says that as the DOL WHD embarks on more coordinated large-scale investigations, businesses could be more compelled to sign a deal.
