CHICAGO (December 4, 2014) — The Financial Times (FT) has recognized Seyfarth Shaw LLP among the most innovative law firms for the fourth consecutive year in its annual FT Innovative Lawyers series. For the first time, the FT expanded its field from the United States to include Mexico and Canada for its North America Innovative Lawyers 2014 report.  

At the report’s launch event held December 3 in New York, Seyfarth received the award as the top-ranked firm in the Business of Law category. This marks the second straight year - and third of the last four - that Seyfarth has finished tops in this category, led by the continued evolution of its distinctive SeyfarthLean® client service delivery model.

The firm also earned “Commended” honors for its focus on taking a "research and development" approach to creating innovative client solutions.
  • Corporate & Commercial- The firm earned “Commended” honors for its introduction of Disclosure Dragon, the industry’s first online document assembly software designed specifically for the financial and legal disclosures of the crowdfunding industry.
  • Social Responsibility: Projects - The firm earned "Highly Commended" honors for its work to develop a new model to assist legal aid organizations in improving the effectiveness of their pro Bono work.
