Arthur Rooney quoted by Law360, “6 Recent Class Cert. Rulings Every Litigator Needs To Know”

Arthur Rooney was quoted in a March 9 story from Law360 on the Fourth Circuit decision EQT Production Co. v. Robert Adair which addressed difficulties in ascertaining just who is in a class, and also demands that judges maintain a high level of rigor when ruling on certification motions. Rooney said the court put teeth into Rule 23’s ascertainability requirement.
