Laura Maechtlen and Kylie Byron were quoted in a January 9 story entitled “How companies accommodate transgender employees — and their colleagues” from the Chicago Tribune on the challenges employers are facing when guiding the transition not only of their transgender employees but also of co-workers and clients who must adapt. Last summer, Equality Illinois and Seyfarth Shaw conducted a workshop to help companies create trans-inclusive workplaces.
