Angelo Paparelli was quoted in a July 14 story “Violators Beware: Immigration Fines Scheduled to Increase Starting Aug. 1” from Bloomberg BNA Daily Labor Report on the Justice Department’s interim final rule that increased the penalties for violating the requirement that employers properly compete their I-9 employment eligibility verification forms. Paparelli said that it is likely to cause employers to be motivated to litigate at the administrative level.
