Seyfarth Shaw Washington, D.C. partner Robert Bodansky was published in the Washington Business Journal on April 25 in an article discussing whether an intelligence-based company can keep the government contracts of a newly acquired company. He states, "Intelligence agencies are most concerned with one thing: Whether or not you plan to keep the people doing the work."

Bob points out that in the intelligence community, the standard non-compete agreements with key personnel that keeps them from other company employees or from doing work for the company's clients may not be enough. Bob recommends identifying those who can make or break the company and keeping them happy for the long term.
