Seyfarth’s FLSA Analysis referenced in Bloomberg BNA

Seyfarth’s FLSA Analysis was referenced in a June 27 story “Will Overtime Rule Mean Less or More Litigation?” by Bloomberg BNA on how the Labor Department expects its overtime rule will reduce private claims, but attorneys on both sides of the wage-and-hour bar say the effect on litigation is tough to forecast. The firm’s November 2015 report found that federal courts saw 8,781 FLSA lawsuits filed in fiscal year 2015, a 7.6 percent increase from the prior year and a 450 percent boost over the previous 15 years.
