Seyfarth’s annual EEOC-Initiated Litigation report was featured in a February 4 story “Business Groups Criticize White House's New Pay Gap Rules” by Fox Business. Authored by lawyers Gerald L. Maatman, Jr., Christopher J. DeGroff, and Matthew J. Gagnon, this year’s report compiles, analyzes, and categorizes the major case filings and decisions involving the EEOC in 2015. Nearly nine out of ten of the 143 lawsuits the EEOC filed last year involved claims of discrimination based on race, sex, national origin, religion and disabilities, a similar proportion to previous years, the study says.
