Seyfarth Represents the AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust in $330 Million Purchase of 333 W. Wacker in Chicago
Seyfarth Shaw LLP advised PNC Bank, National Association and PNC Realty Investors, as trustee and advisor respectively, for the AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust in the U.S. $330 million purchase of 333 W. Wacker Drive, a 36-story office building in downtown Chicago.
Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, the 867,821-square-foot building is known for its green-glass facade that curves along Wacker Drive as it flows with the Chicago River. 333 W. Wacker is about 94 percent leased with its largest tenant, Nuveen Investments, leasing about 170,000 square feet. Developed in 1983, the building includes a four-level subterranean garage.
