Seyfarth Recognized by Financial Times in 2017 North America Innovative Lawyers Report

The Financial Times (FT) has recognized Seyfarth Shaw LLP as one of the world’s most innovative law firms for the seventh consecutive year in its annual FT Innovative Lawyers series.

In the full report released today, Seyfarth ranks No. 12 on the FT list of the most innovative laws firms in North America for 2017, rising two spots from last year. The FT noted the firm’s leadership across a variety of categories:

  • Innovation in Business of Law - Technology: Led by SeyfarthLean Consulting, Seyfarth was shortlisted and earned “commended” honors for the successful implementation of robotic process automation software to improve efficiency in its Immigration practice.
  • Innovation in the Business of Law - Managing and Developing Talent: Seyfarth was shortlisted and earned “standout” honors for its Rooney Rule initiative, which has helped improve the hiring of diverse associate candidates across the firm.
  • Innovation in the Business of Law - Managing and Developing Talent: Seyfarth earned “commended” honors for its wellbeing and resilience program, SeyfarthLife.
  • Innovation in the Business of Law - Strategy and Changing Behaviors: Seyfarth earned “commended” honors for its High Volume Litigation service model.

The annual FT North America Innovative Lawyers report was developed by the FT in partnership with RSG Consulting. Firms are selected for recognition following extensive research, direct client feedback and interviews with independent references.
