Inland Press Association Awards Camille Olson the 2013 Ray Carlsen Distinguished Service Award

On October 28, 2013, Ms. Olson was awarded the Inland Press Association’s Ray Carlsen Distinguished Service Award – one of its highest honors – during its 128th Annual Meeting.  The award, named in honor of Inland’s former executive director, recognizes “members who have distinguished themselves in service to the association and its affiliated foundation, who have been exemplary in service to their communities and their companies, and who deserve the recognition of their peers and colleagues.”

During her career Olson has served Inland in a number of roles, helping shape the legal standards relating to independent contractor status and establishing a direct-seller exemption.
