Seyfarth’s Kristin McGurn Elected as Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers

Boston – June 25, 2018 – Seyfarth Shaw LLP is pleased to announce that partner Kristin McGurn has been elected as a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers Class of 2018. With McGurn, Seyfarth is now home to 31 elected Fellows of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.

The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers is a non-profit professional association honoring the leading lawyers nationwide in the practice of labor and employment law. Fellows are recognized as members of the labor and employment community who promote achievement, advancement, and excellence in the practice by setting standards of professionalism and civility, sharing their experience and knowledge, and acting as a resource for academia, the government, the judiciary, and the community at large. These individuals are elected annually based on a rigorous vetting process where nominees are evaluated based on their character, integrity, and professional experience throughout their career. All Fellows of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers have practiced labor and employment law for at least 20 years.

McGurn is a partner in Seyfarth's Boston office and a vice-chair of the firm’s interdisciplinary Health Law Group. She practices in the area of labor and employment litigation and counseling, specializing in wage and hour compliance and class actions. An experienced litigator, McGurn’s expertise spans federal employment law and analogous state common law and statutory claims, including Title VII, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, civil and equal rights, fair employment practices and wage payment claims.
