Seyfarth’s Angelo Paparelli Joins Advisory Committee To Wayne State University Law Program for International Legal Studies

Angelo Paparelli, partner in the Business Immigration practice group has joined the Advisory Committee to the Wayne State Law School Program for International Legal Studies. The External Advisory Committee to the Program for International Legal Studies gives the Director advice on all major policy decisions related to the international curriculum and programming at Wayne State Law School.  In addition, the Committee regularly identifies international internship and employment opportunities for Wayne State students, suggests experts on international legal topics for the speaker series and assists the director in fundraising.
 
Paparelli is a Certified Immigration Law Specialist (CA), and is known among clients and peers for providing creative solutions to complex immigration law problems, especially those involving mergers and acquisitions.  He also serves as an expert witness and consultant on immigration issues arising in litigation.
 
The Program for International Legal Studies is the focal point for all international activity at Wayne State Law. The program receives guidance from an External Advisory Committee of prominent international lawyers from government, private practice, the international judiciary and academia. The program organizes numerous conferences and speaker series that bring scholars, policymakers and practicing international lawyers to the Law School from around the country and around the world. It also organizes a series of brown-bag lunches during which students can discuss international issues in a more personalized setting with faculty members and attorneys from the community. And it showcases the faculty’s latest scholarship on international issues.
