Ashley N. Arnett is an associate in the Labor & Employment Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Los Angeles office. Ms. Arnett represents clients with wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims in the hospitality, food service, publishing, manufacturing, trucking, health services, and financial services industries. She has experience in employment litigation matters involving class action lawsuits on wage and hour and Fair Credit Reporting Act issues. Ms. Arnett also regularly counsels clients on general employment matters, including meal and rest breaks, wage statement compliance, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employee classification.

A member of Seyfarth Shaw’s ADA Title III Specialty Team, Ms. Arnett regularly advises and defends clients in litigation arising under Title II and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and related California disability access laws. Ms. Arnett has successfully represented hotels, restaurants, institutions of higher learning, and health care providers in ADA Title III litigation in various federal and state courts across the country. Ms. Arnett also regularly counsels clients regarding ADA requirements and the creation of compliance policies and training programs to enable clients to avoid or respond to litigation.

While in law school, Ms. Arnett served as a Senior Articles Editor of the UC Davis Law Review and was President of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. Before law school, Ms. Arnett gained professional experience in the human resources department of a tire manufacturing company.
