Bernard Diamond is counsel in the Real Estate Department of Seyfarth Shaw's New York office and is a member of the firm’s Leasing Practice Group. His practice focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate law, including subleases, property acquisitions, sales, and financing, as well as in general commercial matters.

Mr. Diamond has over 46 years of leasing experience, predominantly focused in New York. He has represented both landlords and tenants on all matters of commercial leasing, including subleasing, ground leasing, net leasing, and office and retail leasing. He also has experience representing owners and developers with respect to commercial real estate, asset management, asset purchase and sales, mixed-use development and contract negotiations.

Prior to joining Seyfarth, Mr. Diamond served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for several developers in New York and has subsequently been involved in a variety of real estate development projects. In addition to his office and retail leasing expertise, he has experience representing clients in real estate acquisition and sales, hotel management and operations, loan workouts, financing, property management, outside counsel management, among others.
