Dani A. Sanchez is Counsel in the Labor & Employment group of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Houston office.

She has spent the last 11 years in-house in the health care and software industries.  In that role, she advised her internal clients on all employment issues including non-compete issues, accommodations, medical, military and other leaves, workers compensation, immigration, wage and hour laws, termination and disciplinary issues.  Dani conducted extensive training on all these issues, as well as drafted, reviewed and interpreted policies on all these issues, too.  Her litigation experience similarly extends to these same matters including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, and FLSA.

While in-house, Dani actively participated with the Association of Corporate Counsel.  In that capacity, she spoke at the national annual conference on labor and employment topics for several years and was an active member of the Houston Chapter as an Executive Committee Member and as Chair of the Labor and Employment Committee for several years.  She also dedicates her time to issues of diversity and inclusion.  In 2010, she founded the Latina Lawyers Network, an organization dedicated to fostering a network of Latina attorneys in the Houston area.
