Ms. Garcia is an associate in the New York office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP.  Her practice focuses on commercial real estate, representing public and private companies in connection with their acquisition, disposition and leasing activities.  Ms. Garcia has specific experience working on transportation projects related to rail and other modes regulated by the United States Department of Transportation, as well as local municipalities.  She also counsels private and institutional lenders on mortgage and construction loans.

Ms. Garcia is passionate about pro bono advocacy work.  In law school, Ms. Garcia represented clients charged with misdemeanors and incarcerated persons seeking parole as a Pro Bono Scholar in Fordham’s Criminal Defense Clinic.  She also advocated for over 50 women and children seeking asylum at the largest immigration detention center in the United States.  She received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award for performing over 1,000 hours of pro bono work during her time at Fordham.
