Given quickly changing immigration policies, rules, and agency interpretations, clients face challenges employing and retaining the foreign workers vital to their business strategies. Jason provides both practical and creative solutions to these immigration challenges.
Jason has experience with clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, giving him a unique ability to address issues and agency challenges in both traditional and creative ways. His specific focus in financial services provides him with a unique insight into the challenges that employers who recruit, hire, and retain foreign workers in this sector encounter. In addition, he has deep experience with respect to the E-2 non-immigrant visa classification, both for startups and large corporations.
Jason started his career in business immigration law as a paralegal, before going to law school and becoming an attorney. As a result, he has an understanding of both the day-to-day, nuts and bolts mechanics of the work, as well as the complex legal issues. He has watched the landscape change dramatically over the years, and adapted accordingly to continue to achieve desired results in the face of near constant fluctuations in rules and interpretations.
Jason prides himself on working with clients to create an immigration program that meets their needs, making ample use of Seyfarth’s innovative platform to achieve this goal. This includes using a client-facing case management and document sharing application along with a documentation automation tool to ensure he produces consistent, accurate, and best-in-class materials. He also relies on and shares data insights with clients to inform their business decisions, with the ability to provide cost projections, as well as outcome and trend analyses.
Jason enjoys working with the entire Business Immigration team, and its breadth of business professionals to develop new ways to provide legal services more efficiently while maintaining the highest quality and personal touchpoints.
