More About Matt

Matt handles a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions for real estate funds, financial institutions, and other institutional clients.

Matt earned his JD from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 2018. Through the UCLA Real Estate Law Clinic, Matt represented a developer in the use of Low Income Housing Tax Credits for the development of housing and services for those with low income or mental health issues in Los Angeles. Matt was a member of the UCLA Real Estate Law Association and served as a board member of the UCLA Tax & Estate Planning Law Association.

During law school, Matt was a judicial extern to Chief Judge William Smith of the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island, where he performed legal research and drafted memoranda in close concert with Chief Judge Smith’s law clerks regarding issues in criminal cases, contract disputes, and others. Also during law school, Matt was a law clerk with the Public Finance Section of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, where he performed legal research and drafted memoranda regarding local business tax issues. Matt earned his BS in Economics and Business Administration in 2015 from the University of Florida.
