Mr. DeMarino is a member of Seyfarth Shaw’s Labor & Employment Department where he focuses his practice on Complex Discrimination and Wage and Hour Litigation.

Mr. DeMarino’s practice focuses on defending employers against complex class and collective action litigation arising under federal and state wage and hour and anti-discrimination laws, as well as government-initiated investigations and litigation. He has experience defending clients with a national presence in a wide range of industries, including franchisors, hospitality and restaurant companies, and staffing companies. His expertise covers the full scope of claims and theories arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII, ADEA, and the ADA. Mr. DeMarino’s practice also includes counseling and advising C-suite executives on a wide range of employment and business related issues.

In addition, Mr. DeMarino has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial litigation, including the defense and prosecution of shareholder direct/derivative suits, trademark infringement claims, and general business-to-business disputes. Mr. DeMarino also has particular expertise in defending product liability suits.

Prior to joining Seyfarth Shaw, Mr. DeMarino served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable William J. Bauer, United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
