These clients turn to Mike when they need his critical thinking, experienced judgment, and sound advice from the commencement of a deal through the closing and thereafter. Mike's experience makes him keenly aware of the business and legal issues facing a wide-ranging spectrum of businesses from new and growing real estate investment companies to well established institutional banks. Given his experience representing parties on either side of a transaction, he understands the push and pull that each side is facing, and has the ability to cut through extraneous information and propose elegant solutions to get the best deal and protections for his clients.
Mike has worked hard to develop a reputation as a deal maker and true partner of his clients. His innate grasp and understanding of his client's businesses, together with his legal/business acumen and vast network, has allowed Mike to create opportunities, negotiate and close complex transactions, lend and invest billions of dollars of capital, broker strategic partnerships, and achieve excellent results for his clients.
His practice focuses on acquisitions and dispositions, financings, entity structuring and formation, joint ventures and partnerships, commercial lending, and leasing. His finance and investment work includes a wide range of large and complex debt and equity transactions.
Mike is a member of the Commercial Finance Association and the Real Estate Finance Association. He lives in Winchester, Massachusetts, with his wife and three children.
