More About Rebecca

Complex and abundant electronically-stored information exists across multiple industries and in many forms. Rebecca's extensive knowledge spanning ESI preservation, collections, data extraction, and data analysis enables her to guide clients and attorneys through these procedures. Before coming to Seyfarth, Rebecca worked as a contractor on both civil and criminal matters at the US Department of Justice, which means her experience spans both the public and private sectors.

Before joining Seyfarth, Rebecca worked as a contractor at the US Attorney's Office, assisting with white-collar fraud cases involving parallel investigations by the SEC and US Attorney's Office. Prior to that, she assisted the Civil Division of the US Department of Justice with document review and trial presentation for a class-action lawsuit alleging mismanagement of Native American trust fund accounts—a litigation involving at least 250,000 class members, and spanning a time frame from 1890 to present day.

Rebecca's background in mathematics and academic research informs her approach to presenting on technology topics that benefit the client and firm. For example, in adopting analytic tools within the firm's SeyfarthEdge Relativity offering, Rebecca compiled research comparing standard review approaches with the analytics-augmented review methods on offer to demonstrate the effectiveness of the technology. She has also prepared various exposure analyses and data visualizations of the results to help clients hone in on key insights within the results.

Rebecca works as a senior member of the Litigation Information Management Office, a dynamic group within Seyfarth known for creative solutions to technical matters. Seyfarth uses in-house solutions such as the analytics-rich Relativity database and the business-intelligence Tableau data visualization software to gain insights into massive data.

Rebecca enjoys working as an integral member of the Litigation Information Management Office. She collaborates with members of Seyfarth's eDiscovery and Information Governance practice group on either client matters or as part of a team to improve Seyfarth's understanding of cutting-edge technology tools. Rebecca finds it rewarding to leverage her extensive industry background with her academic experience to provide the best possible results for Seyfarth, her team, and clients.
