Rhandi Childress Anderson is an Associate in the Labor and Employment department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Chicago office.

Her practice is devoted to litigating and advising employers in various types of labor and employment matters.  Ms. Anderson represents employers in single plaintiff litigation matters related to employment discrimination claims under Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and similar state discrimination laws, such as the Illinois Human Rights Act (IHRA) and the Illinois Equal Pay Act (EPA), as well as retaliation, sexual harassment, pregnancy and religious accommodations, and breach of employment contract claims.  She also has significant experience with state administrative agencies, including the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Illinois Human Rights Commission, and the Chicago Commission on Human Relations.  Her experiences also include drafting employee policies and advising clients regarding such policies.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Anderson was Assistant General Counsel of the Illinois Human Rights Commission.  Ms. Anderson has also served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Justice Marcus Salone of the Illinois Appellate Court.
