Richard Chen is a partner in the Labor & Employment department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s Century City office.  He represents employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including Title VII and FEHA claims, discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful discharge disputes. Mr. Chen also has experience in jury trials, mediations and administrative hearings. In addition to defending employers in litigation matters, Mr. Chen also provides employers with preventive counseling on day-­to-day employment issues, including wage and hour compliance, investigations, employee discipline and employee terminations. While attending Rutgers Law School Mr. Chen served as an editor of Law Review and was an Eastern Regional Finalist in the Thomas Tang National Moot Court Competition sponsored by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
