Sharad is a patent attorney in the Houston office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP.  He practices exclusively in matters before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  As a former engineer, he is an adept patent prosecutor, and has helped clients protect inventions in a range of technical areas including heavy machinery, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and consumer electronics.  He has represented a range of clients in patent matters before the USPTO, from small businesses to Fortune 50 companies.  Sharad graduated law school with distinction, and served on the Iowa Law Review and as President of the Intellectual Property Law Society.  After law school, Sharad served as an out-of-chambers clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
