Youlet Ovrahim is counsel in the Labor & Employment Department of Seyfarth Shaw LLP’s San Francisco office. Ms. Ovrahim’s diverse experience includes litigating matters in the areas of employment law, medical malpractice, real estate law, financial services, and commercial/business law, including shareholder disputes and misappropriation of trade secrets. Ms. Ovrahim also has extensive experience providing general counsel advice to private employers in a variety of matters, including employment and corporate issues.

Ms. Ovrahim represents private employers in employment-related litigation in the areas of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour claims, and breach of contract, among others.

Ms. Ovrahim also draws on her past experience as general counsel and chief compliance officer of a regional mortgage banker, which gives her practical insight into the day-to-day challenges employers face - particularly in the area of human resources.

Ms. Ovrahim speaks Assyrian fluently.
