Mr. Young is an associate in Seyfarth Shaw LLP's Chicago office. He is a member of the Workplace Safety and Environmental and Labor & Employment practice groups.  He concentrates his practice on the defense of OSHA inspections and citations.  He also assists clients in whistleblower litigation, workplace safety counseling, and related commercial litigation.

Mr. Young is an accomplished trial lawyer and has successfully tried matters before the Northern District of Illinois, Illinois state courts, and the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission (OSHRC).  His trial work before OSHRC judges has resulted in the vacating of OSHA citations and the creation of favorable case law for employers. He has also represented clients successfully at arbitrations and argued before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Young has experience in all aspects of labor and employment counseling and litigation, including wage and hour, employment discrimination, traditional labor, and restrictive covenants.  Mr. Young represents pro bono clients in litigation relating to the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. The United States Department of State, Office of Children's Issues awarded him a Certificate of Appreciation for his work on behalf of clients.

Mr. Young is proficient in Spanish.
