Cheryl A. Luce is a Managing Associate in the Chicago office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP and a member of the firm's Labor & Employment Department and Wage & Hour Litigation Practice Group.  Ms. Luce regularly counsels employers on day-to-day employment matters and represents employers before state and federal courts, the Department of Labor, the EEOC, and state administrative agencies.  She is experienced in wage-and-hour, discrimination, family and medical leave, accommodation, discipline, discharge, whistleblower, and workplace investigation issues. Ms. Luce also has experience counseling employers on employee benefits and ERISA issues.

Ms. Luce's practice focuses on counseling employers regarding their wage and hour practices and defending employers against class and collective action claims arising under state wage-and-hour laws and the Fair Labor Standards Act. She also conducts investigations in response to internal complaints by employees alleging legal and ethical violations.

Prior to joining Seyfarth Shaw LLP, Ms. Luce was an employment associate at a law firm in Chicago. While in law school at the University of Michigan Law School, Ms. Luce served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Michigan Journal of Gender & Law. Ms. Luce was selected for inclusion each year as an Illinois Rising Star from 2016 through 2019 by Super Lawyers Magazine.
