Free Legal and Community Services Fair

On Tuesday, October 21, 2014, the Boston office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP is co-hosting a free legal and community services fair along with Brown Brothers Harriman at the Ray & Joan Kroc Community Center in Dudley Square.  Representatives from many of Boston’s top legal and community service agencies will be participating, including: Disability Law Center; Nuestra Comunidad Development Corporation; HomeStart; Project Bread; Victim's Rights Law Center; Volunteer Lawyers Project; and more.  Community members can seek free counsel on a wide range of important legal and non-legal issues.  Representatives will be available to advise on issues related to immigration, domestic abuse, social security, employment, unemployment, CORI, education, public benefits, civil rights, landlord-tenant, foreclosure prevention, family law, custody, bankruptcy,  and small business advice.  Volunteers from Seyfarth Shaw and Brown Brothers Harriman will be working on site to assist residents and help direct them to the proper legal aid agency for their needs.   

 

The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps and Community Center is located at 650 Dudley Street, next to the Uphams Corner MBTA Station. The event will take place from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.
