Steven Meier to Speak at ADISA 2018 Annual Conference

Steven Meier, chair of Seyfarth’s Corporate Department and co-chair of the firm’s Tax Practice, is speaking at the ADISA 2018 Annual Conference on October 9, 2018. He will participate on the following panels:

“Opportunity Zones 101” – This panel will present a look behind the curtain on the opportunities available using qualified Opportunity Zone funds, created under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017.
“Opportunity Zone Offerings: The First Wave” – This panel will provide a forum to discuss the issues grappled with in establishing the first QOZ funds.
“Taking Advantage of Tax Reform” – This panel will provide a summary of key elements of the 2017 tax reform applicable to alternative investment programs and address what such programs can do to take advantage of the tax reform.
