Jay Carle, Jason Priebe, and Ryan Tilot to Participate in Panel Discussions at the 2018 Master's Conference

Jay Carle, Jason Priebe, and Ryan Tilot, members of Seyfarth's eDiscovery and Information Governance group, will serve as panel participants in this year’s Master’s Conference taking place in Chicago on May 22. This year’s conference, titled “Don't get whacked by the ever changing world of Legal Technology. Learn how new trends are preventing you from swimming with the fishes,” will include multiple panels to discuss eDiscovery, data protection, and records management. 

 

Jay’s panel, “Moving from Models to Standards: Next Steps in Maturing the Industry’s Multiple Strengths, One Goal: Building Rock Star Teams,” will discuss creating appropriate standards and best practices for the challenges of new ESI sources and data volume. 

 

Jason’s panel, “May 25, 2018 GDPR is the Date! Data Privacy in a new world of the EU/US Privacy Shield and the GDPR,” will consider the implications of Safe Harbor after the implementation of Europe’s General Data Protection Regulations. This panel will also cover the intersections of Privacy Shield and GDPR.

 

Ryan’s panel, “Rise of the Robolawyer - Increased Efficiency While Overcoming Disruptors to Your Career by Embracing Cutting Edge Technology. The future lawyer is now part automation and expertise,” will discuss future automation of legal roles and the proliferation of artificial intelligence tools.
