Seyfarth Shaw is pleased to sponsor the New York City Bar Association’s 6th Annual Securities Litigation and Enforcement Institute in New York, NY taking place on Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

 

The full-day program will provide a comprehensive overview of recent trends, developments and cutting-edge issues in securities litigation and enforcement.  The panels will include prominent securities litigators, senior in-house counsel at major financial institutions and corporations, national recognized trial lawyers, jury consultants, and economists.

 

Greg Markel, partner and Co-Chair of Seyfarth’s National Securities & Financial Litigation practice group, serves as the Institute’s Co-Chair. Mr. Markel will lead two morning panel sessions, “Statistics on Securities Case Filings” and “Recent Developments In Securities Class Action.” 

 

Will Prickett, partner and Chair of Seyfarth’s National Securities & Financial Litigation practice group, will moderate the afternoon panel, “Critical Issues in Shareholder Activism & M&A Litigation.”
