The COBRA provisions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 implement a governmental subsidy of COBRA premiums for involuntarily terminated employees. The new law has an immediate and substantial impact on employers' obligations for COBRA. Please join a panel of Seyfarth's employee benefits attorneys for a timely program about the new law and the challenges and immediate impact it will have on employers, including: 1) how the subsidy works, 2) who is eligible, 3) what actions steps are required for implementation.
