Linda Haynes to Present on Defined Benefit Plan Investments

Seyfarth Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Partner Linda Haynes is presenting on the “DB Plan Investments” panel at the American Bar Association’s ERISA Fiduciary Institute 2019: Know Your Responsibilities, April 4 in Washington, D.C.

The panel will discuss considerations in defined benefit plan investments in alternative asset classes, including hedge funds, private equity, and other assets. The panel will look at things from the fund and the plan investor perspective, as well as the perspectives of regulators.

The ABA ERISA Fiduciary Institute is a full-day program where government regulators, in-house fiduciaries, investment professionals, and experienced ERISA attorneys discuss best practices in plan governance and fiduciary oversight.
